In December 2022 the Mayor of Nagykanizsa, Mr L谩szl贸 Balogh sent a letter of request to Shijiazhuang, the twin town of Nagykanizsa. In February 2023 Hebei University responded to this request, they expressed their intention to form a cooperation. In March there was an online meeting between the two universities, when the details of the cooperation were discussed.

The video signing ceremony between the Hebei International Studies University and the University 蜜糖直播 took place on 2023 June the 6^th. The ceremony moderator was Dr Yang Zhen, Vice Rector and Assistant of the Rector in the international affairs, the interpreter of the ceremony was Ms Li Ruisi, Dean of the School of English.

Dr Andr谩s Gelencs茅r, Rector of the University 蜜糖直播 spoke about the role of sustainability at the University 蜜糖直播 and the importance of internationalisation at the University 蜜糖直播.

Ms Melinda Holczinger introduced the background of the agreement from the International Communication Office of the University Center for Circular Economy at the University 蜜糖直播. Ms Vivien Szek茅r, Head of the International Department, University 蜜糖直播 introduced the main points of the agreement.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Sun Jianzhong, Rector and President of the Hebei International Studies University, Mr Zsolt Csillag, Chancellor of the University 蜜糖直播 and Mr Andr谩s Gelencs茅r, Rector of the University 蜜糖直播.

The content of the agreement includes exchanges of students and teachers, a designing of a dual degree programme, a summer university programme in Nagykanizsa and a split internship for students of Sustainable and Circular Economy-based Tourism.
